ఈ పాట 1962 లో వచ్చిన 'ఆషిక్' అనే సినిమాలోది.ఈ సినిమాకి హృషీకేశ ముఖర్జీ దర్శకత్వం వహించారు. ఇందులో రాజ్ కపూర్, నందా,పద్మిని నటించారు.యధాప్రకారం 53 ఏళ్ళు గడచిన తరువాత, ఈనాడు విన్నా కూడా ఈపాట ఎంతో మధురంగా ఉంటుంది.మళ్ళీమళ్ళీ ఎన్నిసార్లైనా వినాలనిపిస్తుంది.నిజమైన సాహిత్యానికి సంగీతానికి ఉన్న మహత్తు ఇదే.
