అంటూ తన మధుర స్వరంతో ఆశా భోంస్లే పాడిన ఈ మధుర గీతం 1965 లో వచ్చిన Waqt అనే సినిమాలోది. ఈ పాటను వ్రాసింది సాహిర్ లూధియాన్వి కాగా సుమధుర స్వరాన్ని ఇచ్చింది సంగీత దర్శకుడు రవిశంకర్ శర్మ (రవి).
ఇది ఒక క్లబ్ పాటే అయినప్పటికీ దీనిలో ఒక అధ్బుతమైన జీవితసత్యం దాగుంది.వేదాంతులు, జెన్ సాధకులు చెప్పే ' వర్తమానంలో బ్రతుకు' అనే సూత్రమే ఈ పాటలో మనకు వినిపిస్తుంది. నిజం చెప్పాలంటే ఈ పాటంతా ఉమర్ ఖయాం ఫిలాసఫీతో నిండి ఉన్నది. అందుకే ఇది నాకు ఇష్టమైన గీతాలలో మొదటి వరుసలో ఉంటుంది.
ఆశా సుమధుర గళంలో ఈ పాట ఒక మరపురాని అద్భుత గీతంగా రూపుదిద్దుకుంది. నా స్వరంలో కూడా ఈ పాటను వినండి మరి.
